Relief Sector
1. Urgent interventions in some IDPs camps, Amant Al-Asemah 2022 :
FRD organization implemented the in-kind relief
items project in Augest 2022,
Where the needy families were targeted in the Amanat Al Asimah Governorate -Dhahban IDPs camp.in cooperation with Unicef ,140 were distributed to 140 IDPs families in Targeted .
2. Ramadan food baskets 2022 :
FRD organization implemented Ramadan food baskets project in April 2022,
Where the needy families were targeted in the Amanat Al Asimah Governorate - Al Sabeen District.
In partnership with Pure Hands, 934 food baskets were distributed to 934 families
Targeted .
The organization seeks to cover as many poor families as possible in Yemen to reduce poverty as much as possible.
3. Eid Gift 2022 :
FRD contributes to bringing joy and happiness in children during Eid day.
FRD organization implemented Eid Gift project in April 2022,
Where 150 child were targeted in the Amanat Al Asimah Governorate - Al Sabeen District, In partnership with Pure Hand.
4.Distrbution Non Food Iitems ( NFIs):
The project aims to provide life-saving assistance NFIs and Shelter in response for the most vulnerable HHs affected by the floods, particularly those who are living in either in spontaneous settlement or collective centers by ensuring access to a minimum package of humanitarian assistance, which includes adequate shelter/ NFIs CCCM services in Kuidnah district within Hajjah Gove.It targeted 145 House Holds from 1/11/2021 to 31/12/2021.
The project was implemented in partnership with DANISH REFUGEE COUNCIL (DRC) supported by Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF) .
5.Combating Malnutrition In Children:
Contributing to give the children milk to reduce the malnutrition prevalent among the children of Yemen in light of the current conditions, where it distributed 1530 bucket of milk during three months ,It targeted 170 child from one to three years old from 1/3/2021 to 1/6/2021. The project was implemented in partnership with Yemen Food Bank (YFB).
- FRD aims to achieve a world free from all forms of malnutrition and this work is being carried out within theframework of the Comprehensive Implementation Plan on Infant and Young Child Feeding.
6. Distribution food baskets (1):
The organization carried out projects in the distribution of food baskets in May 2021,
targeting the most needy families in Sana'a province in Sanhan district, where it distributed
120 food baskets .
Self-financing projects have been implemented to distribute food baskets. Families most in need were
targeted by fielding and visiting .
The organization seeks to cover as many poor families in Yemen as possible to reduce poverty as possible.
7. Distribution food baskets (2):
The organization carried out projects in the distribution of food baskets in May 2021,
targeting the most needy families in Sana'a province in Koshar district, where it distributed
150 food baskets, where Families most in need were targeted by fielding and visiting .
Self-financing projects have been implemented to distribute food baskets.
The organization seeks to cover as many poor families in Yemen as possible to reduce poverty as possible.
8. Aladahi Distribution:
In partnership with Pure Hands, FRD carried out project in Aladahi distribution 2021, where project targeted the neediest families in Sana'a Gove, Alsabeen district. FRD team conducted field visits to do the need assessment to reach the poorest families. On the other hand, FRD team coordinated with SCAMCHA and others stakeholders in the district to start the implementation of the project. On Jul, 21 2021.
Development Sector
1. School Backpacks Distribution Project :
In partnership with Pure Hands, FRD carried out project in School Backpacks distribution 2021, where project targeted the neediest families in Sana'a Gove, Alsafia district. The Back to School project aims to support a group of students who are in dire need of it especially in light of the difficult humanitarian conditions and the deteriorating economic situation in Yemeni society, as well as raising the capabilities and competencies of the educational staff in schools to ensure the quality of education On the other hand, FRD team coordinated with SCAMCHA and others stakeholders in the district to start the implementation of the project.
